Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Cylindrical Roller Bearings (CRB)are rolling bearings with cylindrical rollers as the rolling elements, providing linear contact with the raceways. They exhibit high load-carrying capacity primarily under radial loads. The low friction between the cylindrical rollers and the cage makes these bearings suitable for high-speed rotation.

Cylindrical roller bearings are also available in sealed or split designs. In sealed cylindrical bearings, the rollers are protected against contamination, water, and dust, retaining lubrication while excluding pollutants. Split bearings, such as cylinder roller bearings, are primarily used in configurations where access to the bearing is difficult, such as crankshafts, simplifying maintenance and replacement procedures.
